    Hi All,

I have seen the two caching plugins for remote images but they don’t quite fit the bill.

Does anyone know whether it is possible to cache a remote image locally when the post is published? I am using feedwordpress to create a news aggregator, and as it automatically updates I’d like the images ot be cached locally so that the thumbnails can be created properly by post-thumbs-revisited.

post-thumbs has a bit of trouble reading about 40% of remote images, otherwise it wouldn’t be a problem.

    Cheers,

    Chris.
