    Hello
I am using the calculated field form (which is incredible by the way!) to calculate several hundred fields, the form is complete but I think due to the size the ‘Eval dynamically the equations associated to the calculated fields’ causes choosing an option in the form to freeze and take a long time to unfreeze, so with that option turned off I am using a button, changed to “calculate”.

The problem is that after all the required fields for the calculations are chosen, the calculate button needs to be pressed 4 times for it to completely calculate the entire page.

    Hi,

I’ve uploaded an update that should solve the behavior you describe. Please, download and install the latest plugin’s update, and please, let me know the result of the test.

    Best regards.

    Thanks for the fast response!

Unfortunately I need to convince by boss to invest in a paid version of this brilliant plugin, then I’ll be able to use the update you made ??

I’ll consider the problem solved, as there’s no work around I can do.

    Hi,

Please, reinstall the free version of the plugin, the update was made in this version too.

    Best regards.

    Reinstalled

The update means the calculate button only needs to be pressed twice now, which is better ??

My first thought is to look for some code to use in the OnClick event that treats one click as 2 or 3 clicks, to ensure the calculation button reaches the last one it needs to, I don’t want to confuse customers with inaccurate estimates if they didn’t click enough times.

    Hi,

I suppose the issue in your case may be related with the design of your form, probably some dependencies, or temporal calculated fields have been used not in the better way possible.

Please, select a calculated field, and uncheck the option to optimize the equations, and checks the form again.

    Best regards.

No change when unchecking the “Optimize Form Equations” unfortunately, thanks for all your help though. I imagine there’s a better way I could go about designing the form, I’ll have to look back into it on Monday.

    Thank you!
