Calculate Shipping not working

  • Calculate Shipping appears but does not work. I followed the instructions and use the twenty thirteen theme. I have filled in the shipping zones (Germany, Europe, Worldwide delivery)and table rates(Germany 0kg-2kg 5€, Germany 2kg-5kg 7€ …) and so on. In the “shipping options”(woocommerce settings) I enable “shipping”
    and “enable the shipping calculator on the cart page”. As Shipping Method I used “table rate shippings”

    try to send to my country (germany). I can fill in the country and Zip Code but nothing happens if I click
    “Please use the shipping calculator to see available shipping methods.
    Calculate Shipping”

    What do I did wrong?

    Hi sowieso,

    Have you tried enabling one of the default methods instead such as Fixed Rate shipping to see if the problem persists?

    The maintenace mode at the site the shop should run is offline now, but I switched off all the shop items .. heres the site, maybe you could find something wrong there: https://www.zombies-union.com

    Hi Katharina,

    Could you try entering your Min values using decimal points (dots), instead of commas?

    Also, WooCommerce caches shipping rates, which is sometimes the cause of such issues. This can be temporarily disabled by enabling the shipping debug setting on the WooCommerce > System Status > Tools page.

    Sorry about the delay getting back to you.

    I know this will sound obvious, but do your products definitely have correct weights defined in Product > Product Data > Shipping?

    Your settings look fine, so if the shipping is not working then this would require further investigation by looking at your WordPress installation. This level of support is offered as part of the Plus version of the plugin, so please consider upgrading if you think this is required.

    Hi John,

    I found an error message in the system status, could it be that: WP Memory Limit: 40 MB – We recommend setting memory to at least 64MB.

    And I have one question for the Plus Version. The Plugin includes 1 year of updates and support. Is the whole Plugin limited or just the support? Do the Plugin runs in the second year, or do I have to pay each year?

    Hi Katharina,

    The memory limit warning would just affect performance and loading times, it is unlikely to affect plugin functionality.

    You can continue to use the plugin after your license expires, you just will not be eligible for further support and updates. Of course, I recommend that you renew the license so that you stay up to date, but you are under no obligation. Licenses can be renewed at a significant discount – currently 40%.
