    Hello,

I am working on a site right now that requires users to sign up. I am currently using BuddyPress for the community portion of the site and quite like it. There is however one major setback with it. Their registration page does not allow for file uploads which is an absolute necessity for me. What I essentially want to do is continue to use the BuddyPress login widget and have the BuddyPress individual user pages but circumvent the whole BuddyPress registration by unchecking ‘Anyone can register’ in the general settings and create a ‘Register’ page with Caldera Forms Users Add-On.

Before I purchase the add on I wanted to ask you guys if this is actually possible. If I use Caldera Forms Users Add-on for new member registrations will it mess with BuddyPress at all? Will their individual BuddyPress pages still be created after they register through a Caldera form registration page?

Would love to get some insight before purchasing. Thanks for your time.

Hi, I read through my post and it didn’t sound as clear as it probably should be:

To clarify: I want to use the Caldera Users add-on for registrations to add file uploads but continue to use the BuddyPress front-end profile builder as I am using other plugins that are integrated with it. Is this possible? Thanks.

    Hry Horsmanzach,

Yes, Caldera Forms Users Add-on can do this. You can use the Users add-on for a simple user registration page in this way, and then do whatever else you require with those user profiles. What you can’t do is integrate Caldera Forms with BuddyPress directly, for example to add data to an xProfile.
To do this you need run action to do a custom process with the submission.
