    Hello ??

I have installed the free version of the plugin. But once a while (every 2 weeks nearly)- the plugin disappears. On the site “events” comes a 404 site and in the wordpress Backend appears a notice, that the plugin has been deactivated. Unfortunately I do not remember why…

In the wordpress -> plugins I can’t see it, but via SFTP I can see it. Than I delete it there (via SFTP).

If I install the plugin again – everything is fine, all events are there – until the next time, it chrashed down.

Do you have any idea, what the problem might be?

    Thank you ??

    Hi @devi68

    Thanks for reaching out!

Not sure what could be happening there.
Plugins might get deactivated if there is an issue or error with them, that would make the site stop working.

Might be that your site / the plugin causes a heavy load on the servers, the hosting provider sees that, and they deactivate the plugin for you.

It would be worth reaching out to your provider asking them “The Events Calendar plugin gets deactivated automatically every two weeks. Can you help me figure out what is happening?” Then they will let you know if that is the issue.

Otherwise you could enable error logging and next time the plugin gets deactivated check the logs to see what’s happening. You can also share the log with us and we can take a look.

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers,
