    Hello there..

I guess my biggest issue is not knowing what the best configuration is for this plugin. However, site is blazing fast and works okay.

Two issues I am having. Unless I purge the cache the calendar will never update to the next day. Also, even though my site is indexed and the social cards are in the header they show up in certain places like on my twitter page and in whatsapp, but not for awhile after I purge the cache in slack and most importantly when I test my site with twitter dev card checker. The logs are green but the output suggest I am running a summary card not the large summary card and never shows an image.

    Hopefully you can help.. thanks..

    – For most sites the default plugin settings is just perfect.

    – Hord to say without knowing how your calender system is working. If your calendar system is using Ajax to fetch the calendar data and then show it to the users then it will work just fine even if the page is cached.

Otherwise if your Calendar system is using PHP to update it’s data then unless you purge the cache it won’t get updated. As when a page is cached, it’s HTML content gets cached in the CF CDN. So, when a non loggedin user visits that page, the HTML content of that page gets served from Cloudflare CDN. PHP does not get executed to generate the content dynamically.

This is why when you purge the cache, the first request hits the origin server where PHP gets executed to generate the page HTML after which it gets cached in CF CDN.

Also, even though my site is indexed and the social cards are in the header they show up in certain places like on my twitter page and in whatsapp, but not for awhile after I purge the cache in slack and most importantly when I test my site with twitter dev card checker. – This is not a cache issue, as these social channels uses their own cache system to cache the social header images and it takes a bit of time for their crawler to crawl that and cache the item.
