And overwrite your local copy located at:

/wp-content/plugins/the-holiday-calendar/the-holiday-calendar.css

Great that it worked!

When you update the plugin the CSS will be overwritten. To restore the customizations again paste this piece of code in the bottom of the the-holiday-calendar.css file:

/* Customizations */
.thc-widget-content thead th:first-child {
color: #f60;
}

.thc-widget-content thead th:last-child {
color: #f60;
}

.thc-widget-content .thc-today {
background-color: #DCDCDA;
}
