Calendar Disappears due to no text in the body box

I have downloaded the Events plugin on my Intranet site. I have noticed that when I create a new event and do not add text to the body box; my calendar disappears from my page. I am required to put a description in the body box in order for my calendar to display again. All that it shows is the “edit” buttons, but no calendar. Can this be corrected? Otherwise a new user wanting to post a new event with just the title and no body will think he/she has broken the plugin. I would like to see a required field flag in the text box. Or at least try to fix it so it doesn’t need text in the body box.
