As seen at the link below, the calendar does not display any events for October, but if you click to the next or prior month, those events do display.

I also noticed an error on the page that said the following:

If I go to September, and then back to October, it generates a much longer error report:

I temporarily switched to WordPress Theme 2015 and they displayed fine, so it is likely an incompatibility with my current theme. But I don’t know how to track down the bug. Any suggestions are appreciated. (short of deactivating plugins, which I’ve done already)

could it be that your site is using another version of jquery aside from wordpress default jquery library?

Just tried that, and unfortunately that didn’t work.

Fortunately, I tried disabling all of my plugins a second time and it worked! Turns out it was Jetpack. I missed it the first time around because activating that plugin doesn’t cause the glitch. Instead, the glitch starts when I connect Jetpack to my wordpress account, which activates several of Jetpack’s mini-plugins. I’m not sure which setting in Jetpack is the root cause, but for now they are disabled and I am slowly re-enabling the one’s I need.

Problem solved!
