Calendar Event Problem

    I just installed sportpress to check it out and put some dummy data in it. When testing the calendar event portion, I am having an issue. Any events I put in the future will show up on the calendar view, but when I click the event to see the detail, the page comes back as page cannot be displayed, like its missing. If I move the date back to the past, it works fine. Any ideas why this would happen?

    On a side question, is it possible to use the event calendar feature for team events, like meetings? I am looking for something to promote information for a High School football team. I need things like calendar/events/schedule, score/Win/Loss updates, announcements, and so on.

    That’s weird. Would you mind pasting the link to an example of this issue in your site, so we can check it out?

    As for meetings, we don’t have this feature, but you could use a plugin such as the events calendar for that.

    Hi @djtech2k,

    Can you please try the following:

    1) Go to Settings -> Permalinks and enable any other option except Plain. For example enable Post name. Don’t forget to press Save Changes button.
    2) Disable all your plugins except SportsPress
    3) Switch to a default theme (like Rookie or Twenty Seventeen)

    Great, that worked. Changing the permalinks made it work. Thanks!

    I wish I could find a event calendar that could handle game schedule but also things like meetings, etc.

    I am glad it worked!

    Unfortunately you will need to use an extra plugin for Meetings etc…
