Calendar fails to update, connection refused

    Hi

    ‘Connection refused’ sounds like iCloud is refusing a connection from your server for some reason.

    It also refuses that ics url from my test server test.icalevents.com

    However If I test with a personal test public iCloud calendar, iCloud is happy and the calendar updates

    Test calendar has a url like:
    webcal://p02-calendarws.icloud.com/ca/subscribe

    what is different about your ics url ?
    Are there other ‘share’ or ‘subscribe’ links you can try ?

    It seems to be working now – Apple’s servers simply refused the old URL beginning with “p03…”
    I had to change the URL of the calendar — turned off sharing, changed the name, changed it back and re-published the calendar (OS X El Capitan). The new URL now updates.
