Calendar gone after update to WordPress 3.5.2

Same issue here. Frustrating…. Might have to switch out for the time being so I have a working calendar.

Actually I have the calendar on the back end. It’s the front end that’s a problem and if a user tries to schedule an event it links them to the dashboard, which I have removed access to for everyone but my Admin account. So all it does is throw an error saying the Administrator has removed access to the dashboard.

I have 2 websites with Ajax calendar. Both I update to 3.5.2 , both use same template (same Version).

One website all things fine. Other website I not see my calendar now in Frontend. Backend in both work.

Any update in progress?

I also checked with Firefox, same. Normaly I use Crome.

I was having a problem similar to this when I updated to 3.5.1. Turned out to be a jquery conflict; my theme was calling an old, bundled version. I changed that script in the header.php to instead point to googles recent version of the same file, and the problems were solved.

I suggest you guys check for any javascript errors and see if solving them clears up the problem.

Create another instalation of wordpress 3.5.1 with Twenty Eleven for example and just Ajax Events Calendar plugin who work good indeed. And utilise its pages including just the calendar pages into your presentation site. I hope to help you.

Can you please explain this fix to the non-literate WordPress users? Perhaps a copy-paste of the script?

Any other help with this would be appreciated! My calendar front-end is gone, but everything is fine on the back-end.

Create a new WordPress installation only for a separate calendar page.
It is preferable to use the kit version of WordPress 3.5 or 3.5.1 and 1.0.4 version of Ajax Events Calendar. Then follow the link newly created website integrate in your initial site where the calendar not working correctly due to incompatibilities between versions Events Calendar Software work with.
If your page with calendar initial is https://mysite/calendar

Your new page with the same calendar is

https://new_mysite/calendar. Acces this page from https://mysite/any_link

In cPanel phpMyAdmin export your initial data (aec_event and aec_event_category tables) and import in the new instalation database.
