Calendar issue when switching language with WPML

I am trying to: Use the calendar plugin both in English and French
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: https://hopeandcope.ca/news/ and FR version https://lespoircestlavie.ca/nouvelles/
When accessing the same event from the english version, I expected to see The event description and event page.
Instead, I got the error: “This page isn’t working ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS”
