Calendar JQuery/Javascript Not Working

    I am having issues since installing the latest version of WordPress (version 4.7) .. the jquery/javascript functionality seems to be gone … when trying to add a new event, I cannot select the dates in the date picker and the dropdown sections, i.e., Event Location, Cost and Tickets, Organizer Contact, don’t expand.

    Also cannot view frontend calendar in LIST view – results in the following error:

    Something went wrong while fetching events.
    The request status is: 200
    The error thrown was: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 95378

    This issue has been a problem both in an existing calendar (https://ucwef.com/about-us/calendar/)and a new installation (no longer installed).
