I’m trying to use Events For Google Calendar for the website I’m designing for client irwinfirst.org. I copied and pasted the API key as is for the calendar, and Calendar id which is just the email address created for the calendar, copied the short code for the events plugin and entered it but it’s not only saying “not showing” for the short code area, it also keeps crashing the page that the shortcake was entered on

    Hi @jgardonis ,
I am not able to see activated plugin on your website . So I would recommend you to please activate the plugin first and add the shortcode on a dummy page and send it’s link to me . This way I can configure your issue better.

Once we are able to detect your issue we will guide you with every possible solution.

    Thanks

    Hi @coolcoders

I’m sorry I did have the link in my original post with the shortcode added to a page but it got deleted somehow. Here’s the link https://irwinfirst.org/events/. Shortcode was added but it just says not found.

    Hi @jgardonis ,

We have visited your link . It seems there is some issue with your api id or calendar .
The page is showing an error of “Not Found”. This error is generating from the api call.
You can read more about this error at “https://developers.google.com/calendar/api/guides/errors” . Make sure Your Calendar has some events and check if your api credentials are correct.

    Thanks

We made sure the calendar had events, and double checked the API credentials. It has a green check mark in Developer Console for “Enable Service: calendar-json.googleapis” and I copied the API as is when at first I was getting another message that it needed to be enabled. What else could “not found” error be? Because that’s what I’m still getting.
