    After some more research, I found other people having issues with 404s and flushing the permalinks was suggested. I changed the URL (/events) for the calendar to something different, then back to /events and it is working now. Hopefully this post will help someone else in the future. ??

    Changing the slug to something else, saving, then back to “events” fixed it for me as well.
