Calendar not showing links

I just purchased the Antenna theme, which came with Calendar widget and the calendar is working except you only know a post was made on a certain date by hovering over that date (the date changes color on hover) – it seems from the examples the date is supposed to be a different color from the rest of the dates before even hovering, but it’s not. All the dates are the same color. How do I fix this? and is there a way to specify the color I want the date to show?
