I have a calendar set up that is pulling in events from a booking system on the site, creating events in Google Calendar, and then should be sending the information to Simple Calendar to be displayed on the front end of the site to show when certain times are booked off. I had it working briefly, but it seems to have stopped working. The API is correct, the calendars are public, the IDs are correct so I’m not sure where the disconnect is. I have tried clearing the cache but nothings seems to be working. Any help you can suggest would be greatly appreciated.

I should also add that if I manually create calendars in the Google Calendar, they don’t appear on the front-end either.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

With respect to your query here, if perhaps you could be having other calendar plugins in place, please have them disabled and see if the issue is resolved.

Let us know how it goes.

    Kind Regards,

    John

My calendar stopped syncing today too – it’s been working fine for 8 years.

I don’t have any other calendar plugins installed – yours has always been the best.
I’ve refreshed the cache in the Calendars menu several times but they don’t seem to be pulling data from Google.

I’ve checked the API Dashboard at Google and there seems to be problems logging in to the Oauth manager section – could this be the issue i.e. Google Oauth logins are down?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

In regards to the query here, this is an issue relating to the pro plugin. Unfortunately support for issues related to commercial plugins is not provided here. I would recommend submitting a support ticket here:?https://simplecalendar.io/contact/?for assistance.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind Regards

I don’t have the commercial plugin… I use the Simple Calendar free version ??

    Hello,

Can you confirm your WP, PHP and Simple Calendar plugin versions?

@johnweru – the only other calendar plugin installed is The Events Calendar. It doesn’t pull in any Google calendar feeds currently. Would that have any sort of effect?

The site is running the latest version of WP (6.4.2) and is on PHP 8.2. SC is version 3.2.8.

    Thanks!

I tried turning off TEC on the staging site and that didn’t seem to have any effect. The events are still not being pulled in.

I think I may have figured it out. I think one of the calendars was public but was set to only busy/hide details. I changed that and updated the calendar ID and it seems to be good now.
