Calendar on my site not showing my booked dates

I have created a 2020 calendar for my gite and have blocked off the days at the beginning of May and end of Ooctober when the gite is not available. This all shows correctly in the table editor and I have saved this. But when I look on my site the calendar is showing all the dates for May and October available. How do I get my calendar to accept the edits I’ve made? Thanks for any help / suggestions. Sue
