    Did a lot of research trying to find the Event Calendar that would fit my community centers needs and this one seemed perfect! So I installed it the other day, and nothing happened – nothing in the admin bar or anything. So I researched it a bit and found out I should FTP in and manually upload the plug in. So I did that, and the functionality was appearing in my admin panel to add events. So I added a few events, under different categories, and then went to see the calendar page to see what it was looking like and how is was working with my site. So I sent to https://charlestonjcc.org/calendar/ and the page was blank. My site https://charlestonjcc.org/ was down or anything, site is still loading fine and everything else working well, but that page is blank. So I used a shortcode [ai1ec] to just put it into the body of a different page. https://charlestonjcc.org/test/ When I do that, only part of the page loads, nothing shows up after where the shortcode was placed.

    So, more googling. Found that maybe it was a plug in error. Disabled ALL of my other plug ins, only enabled all in one, and tested both of the previous pages. No luck. Switched my theme to 2011 as suggested in the Timely support site. Still, no calendar. Sooo last thing, went to the advanced settings, clicked the Skip in_the_loop() check. Tested again. Nada.

    Help please! ??

  • Hello,

    Which version of the plugin have you installed?
    Please delete the current plugin and download 1.10.11, that you can download it from time.ly

    However, Can you please try the following to see if it resolves your issue:

    ftp to your site, and copy the files from
    wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/themes-ai1ecb
    to
    wp-content/themes-ai1ec.

    Overwrite any old files.
    Go to your Events > Theme Options > and click Save options. This will recompile your CSS.

    Please let me know how this goes.

    Thanks

    @jashan, I have 1.10.11, downloaded directly from the site.

    But I followed your instructions and now the calendar is showing! Thank you!

    @collin.m.barrett Did you try all the other things I listed in my original comment?

    Yes, I tried all of your debugging steps with no success. Since it’s a brand new site, this is actually the only plugin currently installed. And switching to the 2014 theme didn’t work either. I started a new thread per your request. Thanks, glad it is working for you!

    Hello @collin.m.barrett,

    Can you please try the following if that helps:

    FTP your site, and go to Wp-content -> plugins -> All in one calendar -> all-in-one-calendar.php and delete the following code at line 160
    unset( $plugins->active[ array_search( $basename, $plugins->active ) ] );

    Take Care

    @jashan That worked! Thanks.

    Hello @jcc Website Admin,

    Please mark this as resolved ??

    Cheers!
