Calendar URL not containing events

Hi Dick,

This time it took me longer to solve the issue. The bug itself was easy, a typo in the link format I made by changing the link to accommodate the permalink basic setting.
While testing the change I found that the input form of Airbenb did not accept this type of link format. So I spend a lot of time to find an alternative.
Unfortunately I did not fount any. The link format is changed back to its original format https://www.example.nl/airbenb/room_name. Check if you use this format.

I use this link on other platforms than AirBnB (Homeaway, Housetrip)
Had some trouble before the last update. No dates were transferred.
After the last update everything updates perfectly, no problem.
Don’t know about AirBnB, i do not sync with AirBnB

I’ve tested it with AirBnB and that works. I’m trying to use it for Fewo-Direkt as well but they seem to want something else.
No details on their website either so I’m trying to get in touch with them and see what they want or maybe they’re having issues with their system.

That is funny, i use it on Homeaway, the parent company of Fewo-direkt (their sites look exactly the same, apart from the language) and up to now it works perfectly.

About 5 hours ago i entered another booking and just looked in the ical file and it was not updated. The update interval is set at once per hour.
Earlier this week everything updated like it should, has something changed in the meantime ?

You mentioned the update interval so I assume it is about the update from external calendar to the plugin.
I am not aware of a change in this area.

Yes, that is correct.

Anyway this morning the last booking was updated.
So maybe it has something to do with the interval. I have set it at once per hour and yesterday evening around 21:00 a booking of 16:00 was not updated. Not a real big issue as long as the update takes place.

Hi John,

The scheduling in WP is not very accurate. It depends not only on the setting (e.g. hourly) but also on the traffic on your site.
A more accurate option is to use the cron settings of the provider. This solution is not suitable for general use because you need to go into the maintenance panel of the provider.

Thanks for this answer. At least i know that nothing is wrong.
Like i said, i think it is not that important that it updates once per hour, as long as it updates. (each day)

Been looking into fewo direkt and finally found the issue. Fewodirekt expects the url to contain a hostname which i dont use on my website just the domain name.
By just entering www as the hostname i got it to work.
