Calendar View Absent — Error Msg "Sorry…"

Using Woo Canvas. Followed videos etc and set up with “default page template.” Added two events. Events page states, “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”
Have tried different displays, re-saving permalinks (set to “Post name”).
Any ideas on getting this to display? Single events display fine.https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/
