The calendar widget and shortcode don’t work when when I have multiple events on the same day – which I always do. The links go to /sample-page/year/month/day/, which does not exist. (I could create that page manually, but that would be a real drag.) They work without issue when there is a single event for the day – the link is to that single event’s permalink. This is, unfortunately, a dealbreaker, and I hope that I’m just doing something wrong.

    This should just work.
Can you go to Settings / Permalinks and then save the settings?

That actually made things worse. Now I have only a single event on the calendar, which is the site’s (unused) Hello World page.

Permalinks are set to Post Name in Common Settings, and Custom: /shows in Optional Settings

What do you have under Theater / Settings / Display /
Page to show upcoming events on?

It was unselected, because I was using shortcodes elsewhere in my site to pull events. I tried changing it to a test page, and resaving permalinks. but no luck.

Can I see it in action somewhere?
