I have installed the free version of the Events Calendar 2.0.9.
The Events page is set up and can be toggled between Events and the full page calendar. The Events List Widget is showing up in the sidebar. However, I would like to show the calendar in the sidebar as well. I’ve searched everywhere in the Settings and the Widget area but nothing works. I very much hope you’ll be able to help.

Another thing: is there any way to link each event to a form which anybody could fill in to register for an event?

    Thanking you in anticipation.

Hey there mica123. Thanks for the note here, and for downloading The Events Calendar. We appreciate your support on that end.

There is a mini-calendar widget that allows what you’re requesting, but it is limited to the PRO release. More information on what PRO contains can be found over here on the tri.be website: https://tri.be/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/.

If you wanted to have a frontend form solution, I know certain users have integrated with Gravity Forms to varying degrees of success (there is usually at least a tad of customization involved therein though). We do have a frontend event submission solution of our own that is officially supported by our team, in case that’s of any value…it to can be read about at tri.be: https://tri.be/wordpress-community-events/.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have other questions or need anything else here.

I’m going to go ahead and mark this resolved, as it seems the issue here is taken care of and I never heard back after my last note. Please let me know if anybody disagrees.
