Calendar widget only showing start date of multi day events

Hopefully an easy fix from the community.

Event should be listed in the calendar widget from May 23-25 2015
My calendar is only highlighting the first day of a multi part event in the widget. In the Events Calendar View calendar on my dashboard it shows the full 3 days blocked out (see below).
Toggling the “full day” button makes no difference.
Has anyone experienced this and if so, what was your solution?
Also, it seems that links don’t function in the main text area, but perhaps that is by design . . .
