Calendar won’t pop up on Event submission form

    I embed [event_form] on a page to create an event submission form, but don’t know why the calendar won’t pop up when clicking on the from and to date fields. What can I do to make it pop up like the way it should? Thank you.

  • It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

    I’ve done those tests before this thread. I’m rebuilding my existing site and this is just the beginning of the process. Wwhich means there are only a handful of plugins now in this new site and uses the same theme as the original site. But the original site does not have such problem, which is why it puzzled me.

    using Chrome or firebug you can try to check Error Console to see if there’s any javascript error or if your theme or other plugin loads it’s own jquery library which can affect the calendar since EM is using WP default jquery library.

    I’m afraid these instructions are too technical for me. I deleted the whole site and rebuilt everything from scratch and this time around the calendar is able to pop up normally. And that’s good. Thank you very much your help.
