    This looks interesting. I am working in a Themify theme and am trying to use their themify_lightbox but can find no way to have a hook that will monitor the present play position of the video.

    I want to create a teaser video that stops, in so many seconds in and then put some HTML code over the top. I can do the HTML code insert, but I need a way to monitor the vimeo timing, stop the video and overlay…all in a light box.

    Would this be possible with this plugin?

    Hi, SLB’s video extension uses the official YouTube and Vimeo players, so any feedback/interaction made available by those players should be possible for videos displayed in the lightbox with this extension.

    You can do feedback based on a timer with jquery..it has nothing to do with the api set. I just wanted a hook.

    Hi, your original post mentioned functionality such as monitoring video position and controlling playback, both of which are best suited to directly interacting with the video player itself.

    It’s not clear what type of “hook” SLB could provide that would be better than directly controlling the player, so SLB stays out of the way for such things.
