call for shpping issue ideas

You’re on the right track here! Using a shipping class seems like a good idea for your particular use case. You can then use something like Request a Quote for WooCommerce that will give you a “Call for a Quote” shipping method which you can assign specifically to your “quote” shipping class.

Yes thanks I’m aware of that plug-in. The site owners were wanting something simpler like just a message to call the gallery for a quote. Any other thoughts

To achieve this:
(a). You could consider the Contact for Shipping Quote plugin to add the option to call for a quote during checkout.

(b). To conditionally show this shipping method for products you’ve assigned the shipping class called “quote”, you can use these conditional shipping plugins:
