Call member ID to post activity

Hi – thanks for your useful plugin

I’m attempting to use a 3rd-party membership plugin’s member directory/profile, in lieu of default Buddypress profile. (paid memberships pro)

can you suggest the php functions edit that would call the user id of the member and post the activity for that member’s profile? (not the user looking, but the member profile)

I understand the exact attribute would depend upon the member plugin – but how would you customize the shortcode plugin to use that attribute whatever it might be?
