Call Now Button and EU Cookie Law

    Hello,

    I have installed the EU Cookie Law Plugin and I would like the “Call Now Button” plugin to be shown only when the user has accepted this option, is this possible?

    Thanks for your message. I’m not sure why you would want this. The plugin itself doesn’t track anything. It’s GA doing the tracking. If GA isn’t running then nothing is being tracked at all. If you have tracking enabled and GA is active, any clicks you might get on the Call Now Button are completely anonymous and cannot be tracked back to a single user.

    If you still be believe this is required, please explain the full use case and I’ll look into it.

    Thank you. I have installed a plugin for the European law of cookies, what I want is for call now to come out after the user accepts the plugin.

    Hi cerrajeros,

    Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Could you explain WHY you would want this? There’s legally no reason for this functionality.

    I’m going to label this conversation “Resolved” as there doesn’t seem to be any legal requirements to implement this requests. If this does turn out to be the case I’ll reopen it and work on this feature.
