I’ve discovered that when NOT logged into the admin of my site using the AIO-WP-Security plugin, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/insigh40/public_html/openstreetsgreenbay.com/wp-content/themes/coffeeandcream/functions.php on line 263

If I log into the admin or disable the AIO-WP-Security plugin, the site displays fine. Has there been any discussion/resolution to this issue?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Hi phendyr, have you tested a WordPress default theme like Twenty Thirteen to see if you get the same error?

It might be an issue with your theme because the error message above does not mentioned the plugin. It only mentions the theme.

    Kind regards

I tried enabling the plugin, then activating a default theme as suggested, then logging out…. Viewing the site displayed a message saying the site was being updated, and I could not access the site front end.

    The following message

Viewing the site displayed a message saying the site was being updated, and I could not access the site front end

That is a normal message you receive in WordPress. Have you been able to enable the plugin now?

I only saw the statement after re-enabling the plugin.

Have you tried to disable all plugins except this plugin and enable one by one to see if you still get the same message?

yes I have, with all plugins disabled but the security plugin, I receive the error.

Hi, have you tried disabling all the plugins and at the same time change to twenty Thirteen theme and test it again?

    What are your server specifications?

with all plugins disabled & a default theme, the site works fine when logged out. enabling just the security plugin and a default theme, then logging out breaks the site.

some server settings, hopefully this is what you were referencing:

    cPanel Version 11.42.0 (build 24)
    Apache version 2.2.26
    PHP version 5.3.28
    MySQL version 5.5.37
    Architecture x86_64
    Operating system linux
    Perl version 5.10.1
    Kernel version 2.6.32-431.11.2.el6.bl1.1.6_1.x86_64
    cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)

Do you have the maintenance mode enabled in AIOWPS plugin? If so then this is the reason you cannot access the front end.
