Call to a member function getUser() on a non-object

  • Hi,

    I have a problem with wordpress 4.0 and nextgen facebook connect plugin. When I try to connect with facebook for the first time, I have this error msg:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function getUser() on a non-object in /home/[...]/wp-content/plugins/nextend-facebook-connect/nextend-facebook-connect.php on line 138

    The new user isn’t created as well… It worked well with 3.8.2 but not for 3.8.4 and 4.0.

  • avevo lo stesso problema, poi ho scoperto che nei miei file ci stavano due facebook.php in diverse cartelle, questo provocava il mio errore (può essere anche un facebook sdk vecchia versione),

    Ho disattivato il plug-in che usava l’altro file facebook.php e ha funzionato tutto bene per me!
