• We are having a real hard time with the built-in way WordPress mangles javascript code when putting in the CTAs. Since ALL call to action code is javascript can you not just change the editor so it doesn’t mangle the code? Can’t you just turn off the wpautop to no formatting and turn the wptexturize off? Am i wrong on that?

We have tried using a plugin called Text Control but it doesn’t work on the Calls To Action since it’s considered a custom post type. We are really struggling with the plugin and lack of tracking for the CTAs because of the mangled JS.

    Thanks in advance!

  • I think my issue is similar to Rob. I can’t see how to put two CTA’s next to each other on the same line using shortcodes–the plugin calls wpautop() around each CTA.

I’ve taken to editing the plugin and removed the wpautop() call around get_the_content() in hs_action.php. But I think it would be better if the plugin didn’t force each CTA to be in a <p></p>.

If there is already a better way to do:
    [hs_action id=x] [hs_action id=y]

And have them be on the same line, please let me know!

    Thanks,
    Ben
