Here’s the situation: I developed my local site (WP 5.0.1), and used the well known plugin Duplicator (latest version 1.3) to create an archive file to migrate it. After a successful install at my hosting company (Siteground, using same WP version), I try to pull up the site, and get the above error. These is no such error in the local version.

The function that PHP says it cannot find does exist; it is in a subdirectory of the parent theme. So what appears to be happening is that PHP loses its path…somehow.

Any suggestions? Am completely stumped at the moment….see the debug statements before the error where I attempted to print out info about the path.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

https://rickcasey.net/ opens fine for me, NO error.

    However, https://rickcasey.net/test/ throws the error.

That error seems to be coming from your info1 theme, which could not be found in the www.ads-software.com/themes/ directory.

If this was a custom theme, you may have to go back to your developer team and ask them to make the necessary change(s) to the theme.

I fixed this problem; here was the solution.

For whatever reason, the theme was not quite installed correctly, even though the install with the Duplicator installer completely without error; but the child theme was showing up in the admin dashboard as a broken theme. But once I activated the parent theme, and rechecked the child theme in the file structure, the child theme showed up (magically) in the dashboard. I was then able to activate the child theme, and then functioned correctly.

    Just another WordPress mystery…..
