Call to undefined function echo_h() in mediarss_feed.php (v. 2.0.7)

I’m trying to get the RSS feed of my site’s galleries but I’m getting this error:
Call to undefined function echo_h() in mySite/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/mediarss/templates/mediarss_feed.php on line 4, I have managed to solve it for now using the legacy code included (ngglegacy/xml/media-rss.php) that works just fine, but I don’t want to depend on the legacy code. I guess some file must be required/included in mediarss_feed.php in order to work properly.Could you please put me in the right direction?
