• Last night I tried to update to the newest WordPress (3.0.2). Using the automatic update within the platform failed, so I went about the manual way.

I replaced/copied over all appropriate files – four times now. I’m still getting a “Fatal Error: Call to undefined function is_multisite()” issue with line 20.

I’ve even gone so far as to revert back to the old files, but nothing’s working now. Any suggestions?

    The site.

  • Is there a filename for your error message as well as a line number?

Have you any plugins installed – or should I say did you have any plugins installed?

I am currently running the 0.2 update, looking at the notice it seems to have made several changes to multisite activity.

As far as I can see wp-includes/load.php is the only location for the function is_multisite() and is called as the system loads.

Do you have an old copy of this file?

Just saw the link to the site and saw the page reference – sorry I didn’t check.
