    Hi Danny,

I just installed the Mailchimp for WP lite. Configured the settings. Added the “[mc4wp-form]”. Hit save and got this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mc4wp_replace_variables() in /home/xxxxxxxx/domains/supersnelgezond.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/includes/MC4WP_Lite_Form.php on line 56

(replaced one directory name with xxxxx for security reasons)

The post did not save after this error, so I could hit back and delete the “[mc4wp-form]”.

    Can you please assist?

    Thanks in advance, Carlo

    Hi Carlo,

Just to be clear, you got this error after trying to save a post with the [mc4wp-form] shortcode in it?

If so, which (other) plugins are you running?

    Hi Carlo,

The Quick Cache plugin was conflicting. Fixed this in version 1.2.5, should be available from your admin panel within a few minutes.

Would you be so kind to leave a review on the plugin after you set everything up? Much appreciated!

Hi Danny, I am running Versie: 1.2.5 now. However the error is still the same. I also cleared the cache, just to be sure. After that a shortly deactivated my quick cache plugin. Even then, the error still persists. Kind regards, Carlo

    Hi Carlo,

My bad, forgot to commit the actual fix and just updated the version number instead. I did not push out a new version number but did commit the fix now, so re-downloading the plugin will fix it (tomorrow).

    Have a good night!
