    Hello,

I’ve been seeing an error in WP Admin every time Braintree tries to process a subscription payment and fails due to “Fraud Suspected” or “Closed Card”:

An error has occurred while processing a recent subscription related event. For steps on how to fix the affected subscription and to learn more about the possible causes of this error, please read our guide here.

Affected event: subscription payment retry for #80756

To see further details about these errors, view the failed-scheduled-actions log file from the WooCommerce logs screen.

    Here’s the failed-scheduled-actions log file:

08-09-2023 @ 14:50:59 - scheduled action 342795 (subscription payment retry) failed to finish processing due to the following exception: Call to undefined function wc_get_notices()

    08-09-2023 @ 14:50:59 - action args: order_id: 80756

I understand why the card isn’t being charged, but any idea what the error is about? I’m on PHP 8.2 and don’t remember seeing this when on PHP 7.

    Thanks!

    Hello @nothin7,

Since this is related to a subscription product, kindly open a new ticket about this from WooCommerce.com > MY profile > Support as support for premium extensions is handled via email.

    Cheers!

@nothin7 Did you get this resolved? I have the same issue, and opening a ticket on WooCommerce is not working out very well for me. Any help with that is appreciated too.

I did not. BrainTree, can you help us out by stepping in? The issue is only occurring when the customer uses your payment gateway, not other gateways.

Can you please confirm if you’ve created an email ticket from WooCommerce.com as mentioned above?

Look forward to hearing back from you.

I have, and I’m in the same boat as David.

    Hi there @nothin7

I have, and I’m in the same boat as David.

Thank you for confirming. Could you also note the ticket number (#), in order to assist us in finding it, please?

I’ll go ahead with CC’ing @davidmosterd here, for the same reason.

    Cheers!
