Although this is from the 404 Solution plugin, what’s actually having an issue is within WordPress. What version of WordPress are you running. Have you tried upgrading it?

It looks like this might be due to a corrupt WordPress installation, according to the thread at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/call-to-undefined-function-request_filesystem_credentials/

Also if you have a plugin named “Master Slider” then that may cause the issue.

Also it’s a known issue with version 4.9.3 of WordPress according to https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/293402. You should update your WordPress version if so.

According to https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/issue-with-updating-my-page/ there may be a permissions issue that needs to be resolved with the hosting site.

Thankyou Aron to pointing me to that thread. I have updated some files and now I have to wait to see if the problem is resolved.
