    Hi there,

    I’ve been using your plugin for a while now and it is fantastic. It just works! Thank you. Recently, I have been trying to make some enhancements for speed and pages size, etc. When running a test on webpagetest.org, in the waterfall I have a call to google at Host: https://www.google-analytics.com. I’m really confused because I don’t know of having any analytics code besides CAOS. Is this call expected behavior when using CAOS? Thanks in advance.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @sdawales,

    Whether it is expected behavior depends on the fact if you’re using Stealth Mode or not.

    – If you’re using Stealth Mode, CAOS sends all requests to google-analytics.com through your server. So it shouldn’t show up in your browsers requests list i.e. waterfall.
    – If you’re not using Stealth Mode, it’s perfectly normal that 1 request (or multiple, depending on the usage of plugins, such as Enhanced Commerce and Enhanced Link Attribution) are sent to google-analytics.com. Because the data about your visitor has to arrive in your Google Analytics Dashboard somehow. ??

    Hope this helps.

    I see. So if I enable stealth mode in the basic plugin, does that eliminate the call or do I need to purchase the enhanced plugin? Thank you.

    Why do I still get notification about this topic? It is more than annoying – I have already unsubscribed from these postings!!!!!

    @morpheus200k I’m pretty sure you must’ve subscribed to the entire CAOS support forum, not just the support ticket you posted. Try scrolling to the top of this page and click ‘unsubsribe from this plugin’.

    Thanks for that ?? Done.

    Well it hadn’t been subscribed before … I can subscribe but not unsubscribe. Well let’s see what happens.

    @sdawales,

    Stealth Mode Lite and Super Stealth both eliminate the call to google-analytics.com.

    The difference between Stealth Mode Lite and Super Stealth is the amount of data it uncovers.

    At this point your Google Analytics data is incomplete, by ~30%. Stealth Mode Lite bypasses some (less agressive) Ad Blockers and reduces this number by ~10%. Super Stealth bypasses all Ad Blockers, completing your Google Analytics.

    @morpheus200k, no problem!

    Thanks Daan. I did enable stealth and flushed my cache but it’s still there. I’ll have to have a play with it. Regarding the Super Stealth plugin, I am open to support the plugins that work and I use every day. How much weight does it add to a page? No compatibility issues with the likes of autoptimize? Thanks in advance.

    Could you copy the exact URL of the request? Because it might have something to do with your settings in Google Analytics.

    Did you also update analytics.js manually after enabling Stealth Mode?

    Regarding your questions: Super Stealth doesn’t add any weight to your pages, it uses the same analytics.js file generated by CAOS. It just delivers it more intelligently, which allows it to bypass ad blockers. And no, no compatibility issues that I know off. It should work with all plugins that CAOS works with.

    Ah, I see you’re using a CDN. The version of analytics.js that I see on there, doesn’t have stealth mode enabled yet.

    Maybe flush your CDN cache?

    Got it. Unfortunately, installing the super stealth upgrade just gave me a fatal error so I can’t do a thing at the moment. Site is 100% down ??

    Daan, I am sorry to bother you but I have unsubscribed from all mailings, have not subscribed to the plugin nor any other subscriptions made. Can you please help me? I receive all posts and questions every day – it is a bit confusing why I am still receiving all these messages although I haven’t subscribed to any mailings / plugins / other stuff.

    Is there an email address of this page here to ask them to help in case you have no clue?

    Thanks and sorry for that.

    By the way: your plugin is great and I have installed it on my website https://b-ceed.de It is simply great!

    Hi Philipp,

    I’m a simple plugin developer ?? and this is a support forum for CAOS. I’m not a moderator of www.ads-software.com nor do I have access to mailing and/or subscription lists, etc.

    I honestly don’t know how to help you with this. Sorry. You could try contacting WordPress moderators through Slack/Twitter, or something?
