    Dear John
    I would like to use your plugin on a new site that I want to prototype in the next week.
    A user upon completing a book logs on to the site to a registration form and enters the ISBN number and the form is then populated automatically using the data supplied by your plugin.

    I’m not a programmer but slowly getting to grips with WordPress and have put together a couple of sites.
    I have called your plugin by using [openbook booknumber=????????}
    How can I get this to pop up in a form so that the user enters the ISBN dynamically?

    Thanks for your help

    Kind regards

    Curtis

    PS Other site is https://www.borderbusinesssystems.com

    Hi Curtis, OpenBook currently only provides this function to blog authors, not to online visitors. It’s a good idea, but there are no current plans for new features. Will keep your idea in mind.

    Hmmm, one thought. OpenBook comes with a toolbar button. When clicked, it shows a ‘wizard” in which users can enter an ISBN, and preview the results from Open Library before inserting it into a blog post. If your users have a WordPress login, and access to a WordPress blog post editor, they will see the OpenBook button on their toolbar, and can use it as you suggest.
