Callout – how works?

  • Hi,
    it’s my first website and I’d like to see the principal page as the demo version (two bands, a red and a black one) but I can’t project it.
    How the CALLOUT works? What I have to write? I can’t find anything on the net.

    I apologize but I can’t go on alone…

    Then, in my HOME page there is the word “ARCHIVI” in the front that i’d like to delete, what can I do?

    In my demo site I have set Custom Page Template as a front page, not default blog posts.

    Here is what you can do:

    1. Go to Pages → Add New to create a new page to use as the front page.
    2. Add a title to this page, it can be anything you want.
    3. Under the Page Attributes window, set the template to Front Page.
    4. Publish the page when done. You can add text content to this page.
    5. Go to Settings → Reading and click A static front page. In the Front page dropdown, choose the front page you created above.
    6. When finished, click Save Changes.

    Then under Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Front Page Settings you can see things that you can modify in Front Page Template.

    Ok, i did it!!! Thank you very much!! I have two questions more: how can I let people log on the site? The model for registration and all stuffs for subscribe the site.
    And RSS, how works?

    It’s under Settings >> General. And from there Membership.

    The voice is flagged but it doesn’t work, I mean.. I need a link to let people register into my site…

    Note that this is not related to theme you’re using.
