    Long story short:

    I have a custom template set up for use with AutoChimp, I have a list with just me in it for testing, and I have selected the post category to send to that list and template. Upon testing, no campaign is sent at all.

    More detail:

    The template is set up as per the instructions here, and appears successfully in the drop menu when setting up the campaign options in AutoChimp.

    My list (with just my email) shows up successfully in AutoChimp. I have configured the campaign to send all posts with the category “Career development” to my test list and test template. When I add a new post of that category, I check back on MailChimp and no campaign has been sent. I also check my email inbox and junk, and no campaign has been received.

    As far as I can tell, I have used and input the correct API key.

    Is there anything else that I should check? I’m totally stumped!

    Never mind, I stumbled across the solution as soon as I posted this! Turns out that the email address I had set as the “sender” in my list settings in MailChimp had not been verified. I was warned of this in the “Campaigns” tab of the AutoChimp settings by an error message entitled “Recent campaign activity”
