Hello,

On our ecommerce, purchase data works is sent to MC as expected.
See one recent order appeared correctly in MC: https://i.imgur.com/ZsHmxdQ.png

The problem is “Campaign revenue” is 0 since June 2022, see https://i.imgur.com/zBta3RS.png.
Something happened in July/August.

Before the postmeta “mailchimp_woocommerce_campaign_id” from post orders was defined or empty for every order.
Now I just see “mailchimp_woocommerce_campaign_id” postmeta stopped being created, last time was August 17th.

This website has auto updates enabled.
Is there a bug somewhere? How can I debug this feature?

Hi @nicomollet, we’ll be glad to research further. Can you provide your URL and enable remote diagnostics from the plugin’s Settings tab as a first step to troubleshoot?

Hi @nicomollet, thank you for your patience. Revenue is captured by a cookie being set when a campaign is clicked. By chance has that been turned off per this Wiki article? If not, we’ll see if we can spot anything else with your set up.

Hi @khungate I searched for “mailchimp_allowed_to_use_cookie” in my code you were right, Complianz (GDPR/Cookies) plugin set the filter “mailchimp_allowed_to_use_cookie” to false.
Is there any alternative to a cookie based function?
In the days of GDPR, not everyone accepts cookies.

I could simply disable the Complianz function, it would make my website illegal.

Maybe the cookie can be set on the client side, not with PHP?

Hi @nicomollet thanks for your patience. We wanted to let you know that in our next release (v2.8) we will retrieving a member’s recent activity from the Mailchimp API, specifically the last “click event” that occurred within the last 30 days. This information is used without any additional filtering for specific domains. This should help with some of the issues with reporting that you’ve pointed out.

We don’t have a timeline for when the release will go out, but it has passed final QA on our end.
