Can 2FA be used on two different phones?

    Hi – we have a site with two admins. I haven’t tried 2FA yet, and would like to use the Google Authenticator, but am not sure whether it allows two different people to add the same code.

    Or maybe it creates a different code for each admin?

    Hi @user, Thank you for reaching out.

    Yes, you can. As soon as you enable 2FA you will be asked to scan the QR code. Scan it with Google Authenticator on both your phones. As a result, your phones will generate the same one-time passwords.

    Sorry, I misunderstood your question earlier.

    You can only enable 2FA on a single device, but you can access the 2FA codes on a different device by logging in to the same Authenticator app you used on the first device.
