Can a download link back to it’s post?

  • This is about an audio book website.

    I have posts of the authors, and each has many downloads (audio files).
    I have a separate page, with a list of downloads filtered by type of story.

    On the file listing page, people should be able to play the file, to listen to the introduction. But then click back to view the author page NOT download directly. In my case, an audio file can only have one author.

    Is this possible? I would prefer they read up about the author first, and THEN downloaded from the Author’s page.
