Can a theme have 5 columns?

  • I currently use a custom 3 column theme on my website. I’d like to make more use of the screen area by adding 2 flanking columns, for a total of 5 columns.

    Is that possible? If so, tips on how to achieve it would be appreciated. Thanks.
