I am very new to web site management so have only a basic understanding of how to do things.

I’m looking for a way to automatically update my Classes list as I develop new offerings.

Currently I’m experimenting with 2 solutions. I have a page where I just typed in all the info:
    https://reclaimedhealth.com/services/classes/

I like the title at the top and the brief blurb about my classes before seeing a list of classes. However every time I add a new class I have to create a page for that class then update the class listing page manually. A pain.

So I also created the classes as blog posts then created a menu item that pulls up all the “classes” category posts:
    https://reclaimedhealth.com/category/classes/

I love how easy it it! I also like that it’s showing photos and has each class in separate boxes. I don’t like that there is no title on the page or the introductory blurb like on the other solution. I also have no real control over the order the classes are displayed in.

Can AAM combine these 2 solutions to create what I’m looking for?

  • Hi MarlaRH,

Thank you for your question. Advanced Access Manager the main objective is to manage access to your website resources like pages, posts or backend menu. It is not designed to control the output of your pages.

Based on your short description, I would assume that you are looking for layout customization. Unfortunately AAM can not help you with that. You might talk to frontend developers for that (any freelancer will be willing to help you with that and this should not take more than 2 hours or work).

    Best regards,
    Vasyl

Thanks, Vasyl. As I continued reading more about this stuff I figured this wasn’t the right solution. Thanks for the reply!
