can categories on post form be sorted?

    i enable the plugin with buddypress, on buddypress, list of categories on front-end post form sort by name, despite of if the listing category has parent…

    is there anyway, selecting category could be a little more charming?

    or maybe <select> instead of <input type=”checkbox”> ?

    just all the categories mixed together by name… looks, confusing… ; (

    Hi,

    No, they cannot currently be sorted without altering the plugin php code. Unfortunately, wordpress does not make easy solutions for maintaining hierarchy. We are developing new functions for enhancing our category related features.

    Suggest this in our forums for the best chance of prioritizing this issue and seeing the fix in an upcoming release
