    Now with wordpress 5.2 the gutenberg plugin has improved a lot and very helpful now to create custom themes using some other plugins altogether. But still a big thing that is missing in the gutenberg is container block, if we have this, we can utilize it as default for frameworks like bootstrap for putting container, row and col classes to structure layout of pages. I think gutenberg should not control the layout of pages anyway, they should just provide structural units and customization options like color etc.
    =====================================

    I use piklist and king composer mostly for my custom theme design, as per my review the current gutenberg is vary childish and need to improve a lot before it get able to be usable for live sites.

    Thanks god King composer is compatible with it which is my favorite visual composer. But Custom meta fields created by themes for page specific purpose not work when use gutenberg and apply king composer for page building. Also as king composer support direct saving of page by ctrl+S without refreshing the page, that not work if we go from king composer to classic mode at gutenberg to do some theme field (custom field) changes and update the page.

    I still have to check with piklist if that have also issues, might be with metabox fields or so on. So these kind of compatibility things also need to be noticed before moving ahead to make it core in wordpress.

    I am sorry you are experiencing some conflicts with the plugins you like. Many will update soon and leading up to the release of 5.0. Absolutely, those of us working on Gutenberg are doing our best to learn from these compatibility issues. Thank you for giving such thorough reports on what didn’t work.
